This profile of England’s World Cup-winning manager kicks off a series of Sports Arena documentaries new to ESPN Classic. Filmed in 1969, while Ramsey was still in charge of an England team considered one of the favourites for the 1970 World Cup, the programme looks back at his childhood through to his career in football. It is an international career that no England manager has been able to match, putting his achievement in even starker contrast 43 years on.
